Step 1: Download Gujarati-Devanagari writer tool from

http://www.dmjoshi.org/download/GujaratiWriterInstaller_V013.exe

If this does not download then use

http://www.dmjoshi.org/download/GujaratiWriterInstaller_V013.abc ( Once download rename file extension from .abc to .exe)

Step 2: Save it on any suitable location as you want.

Step 3: Double click on GujaratiWriterInstaller_V013.exe to execute setup. Click 'Run' if asked to

Step 4: Gujarati writer tool is ready to use now. You will see following short-cut on your Desktop..

To start using the software click on it.

To Exit the program right click G icon in yellow on system tray menu near running clock on Task Bar and chose Exit from

Once started it will start by itself every time you start your computer.

To use the software  Press CTRL + F1 to write in Gujarati script. Press CTRL + F3 to write in Devanagari script. Press CTRL + F2 to write in Roman script.

Software writes as per following Character Mappings.

As you can see it will not write િ ૂ of Gujarati and ि ू of Devanagari. Software is designed to write fast and simple.

Conjunct or Cluster of two (or more) Consonants व्यंजन requires ् (z) as second (fourth,sixth) to be typed in.

ष्ट्र is made up of ष ् ट ् र
